The musical programme’s main highlights will be concerts by the bands Sidonie and Los Catarres, who will perform in Can Mario Square, the epicentre of the evening performances.
In addition, the festival includes opening shows, DJ sets, circus acts, theatre and family-friendly events, with activities designed for all ages throughout the weekend.

An artistic and sensory experience

Flors i Violes is characterised by its transformation of streets, courtyards and shops into spaces for artistic intervention, with floral decorations and installations that combine visual, auditory and performing arts. This approach turns the festival into an immersive experience that appeals to all five senses.

At the same time, the proposal is complemented by gastronomic and family-oriented activities, consolidating the event as a cross-disciplinary offering that combines culture, leisure and promotion of the region.

Book launches, poetry readings, concerts, family activities and participatory events fill the streets, squares and iconic venues such as the castle and the bookshops in the old town. 🏰 Calonge transforms into a medieval village during Holy Week with activities for the whole family

The historic center of Calonge will take a true journey back in time with the 27th edition of its Medieval Market, taking place on Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5. Coinciding with Holy Week, this well-established event stands out as one of the most attractive offerings on the Costa Brava’s tourist calendar.

 

Throughout the weekend, the streets of the old town will come alive with some forty activities designed for all ages. Live music, traveling shows, jousting tournaments, parades, workshops, and a large craft market will create an immersive medieval atmosphere that will captivate the visitors.

🚌 Free shuttle bus for easy access

One of the major new features this year is the launch of a free shuttle bus connecting Sant Antoni de Calonge with the historic center. The service will run continuously on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with several strategic stops to facilitate mobility during these busy days.

🎭 Culture, history, and unique experiences

The program also includes highlights such as the opening of the Castell de Calonge Espacio Gavarres, featuring dramatized tours that will allow visitors to discover the town’s history through an immersive experience.

With over two decades of history, the Calonge Medieval Market has established itself as a must-see event for discovering the heritage, culture, and traditions of the Costa Brava in a unique setting.

Palamós — Party week and main parade (February 7–18; main parade on Saturday, February 14 at 3:30 PM). Palamós celebrates a full week of Carnival with troupes, a poster contest, and the traditional parade-competition. More info HERE.

Platja d’Aro — February 7–18; Grand Parade of Floats and Troupes, Saturday, February 14 at 11:00 AM. Platja d’Aro resumes its annual event with around twenty activities: morning and afternoon parades, performances, and the grand float competition that turns the Passeig into the central stage once again.
