OKTOBERFEST PLATJA D’ARO – 8 TO 12 OCTOBER
Platja d’Aro celebrates the 38th edition of its Oktoberfest in Plaça del Mil·lenari, one of the municipality’s major autumn events. Over five days, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of international beers and craft brews, accompanied by traditional food, live music and activities for all ages. Admission is free.
TAPAS ON THE COSTA BRAVA TO THE RHYTHM OF JAZZ – 7 TO 11 OCTOBER
The Costa Brava Jazz Festival in Palafrugell was established in 1990, with a series of jazz concerts organised by the Palafrugell Municipal Tourist Board at the Cap Roig Gardens in Calella de Palafrugell. Over the years, the event evolved into an established fixture for jazz lovers on the Costa Brava.
30TH MEDIEVAL FAIR OF PERATALLADA – 3 AND 4 OCTOBER
This weekend, Peratallada celebrates the 30th edition of its Medieval Fair, an event that transforms the village’s old town into a medieval market every year. For two days, comedians, minstrels, puppeteers and other medieval characters will roam the streets and squares, recreating the atmosphere of centuries past.
WINE AND GASTRONOMY FESTIVAL IN PALAMÓS – 24 TO 27 SEPTEMBER
Palamós hosts the Wine and Gastronomy Festival from 24 to 27 September at Passeig del Mar, an event celebrating the Empordà region’s winemaking and culinary heritage. Over four days, the festival will bring together DO Empordà wines, locally sourced products, gastronomy, crafts and culinary creations that showcase the flavours and traditions of the region. Admission to all festival areas is free.
