A WEEK FULL OF MUSIC ON THE COSTA BRAVA: MAJOR CONCERTS AND ARTISTS

Summer on the Costa Brava is synonymous with beaches, sunshine and holidays, but also with concerts, music, festivities and colour. Which of these options best suits your tastes: enjoying live performances by major artists such as David Bisbal and Mónica Naranjo at the Festival de la Porta Ferrada in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, discovering author-led pop-rock in a medieval castle such as the one in Calonge, experiencing the lively atmosphere of the festival bars and orchestras in Platja d’Aro, or being surprised by other concerts and live performances? From 12 to 16 August 2026, the Costa Brava comes alive with music and offers the perfect programme for making the most of summer.

📅 WEDNESDAY 12 AUGUST

Sant Feliu de Guíxols: The big musical night comes courtesy of the Festival de la Porta Ferrada at Guíxols Arena. The evening will begin with Mariona Escoda and Ernest Prana, before the major live performance by David Bisbal, one of the main highlights of the week.

Platja d’Aro: The Festa Major gets underway with a day combining tradition, music and activities for all ages. In the afternoon, Batucada Trastok’ts Street Band will take to the streets, followed by the official ceremony and the Festa Major opening speech. The evening will continue at Plaça Major with a concert by Gospel d’Aro.

📅 THURSDAY 13 AUGUST

Sant Feliu de Guíxols: The Festival de la Porta Ferrada continues with Sandra Monfort at the Teatre Auditori. The Valencian artist presents La Mona de Nit, a performance that blends traditional roots with contemporary sounds in a lively and highly distinctive live show.

Platja d’Aro: The Festa Major continues with a night specially dedicated to younger audiences at Plaça del Mil·lenari. Performances will be given by the winners of Tu de què Vas! 2025, Gabriela Pla and Marc Almar and Joan Freestyle. This will be followed by the final gala of Tu de què vas! 2026, featuring twelve live performances, and at midnight Kintus will take the stage with cover versions to sing, dance and enjoy.

Calonge i Sant Antoni: The F’Estiu festival opens its programme in the gardens of Castell de Calonge with Els Amics de les Arts. The band celebrates twenty years of music with an anniversary tour and a set featuring some of their best-known songs.

📅 FRIDAY 14 AUGUST
